ITEMS ACCEPTED:
- household, unwanted items included (2) furniture items
- 1 window and 1 door (Limit 1 each per household)
- Regular household food waste
- Carpet rolled and tied-in 6ft length (1 roll of per household)
- “Limit 2” Appliances per household (Such as washers, dryers, water heaters, refrigerators, air conditioning units, microwaves and stoves (NO FOOD WASTE OR TRASH CAN BE LEFT INSIDE ANY APPLIANCES)
- scrap metal items
- Used oil- 5-gallon limit
- Dried latex paint only-no other chemical waste will be allowed
- Misc trash must be bagged or boxed- NO LOOSE TRASH WILL BE PICKED UP
- Piles cannot exceed 8ft in length x 8ft wide x 3ft height
- TV’s and monitors will require a bulk sticker – cost $30.00 CASH ONLY- pick up and pay for your sticker at City Hall in Columbus Junction
ITEMS NOT EXCEPTED:
- Oil based paint
- Any and all chemicals
- Concrete, bricks or ashes
- No construction or demolition materials
- No hot tubs, organs or pianos
- Any items so big that I would require a trailer to haul off!
