City Announces Transition to Online Debit/Credit Card Payments
The City will soon be transitioning from our current in‑house debit and credit card machine to a fully online payment system for all card transactions. This change is part of our ongoing efforts to improve efficiency, enhance security, and provide more convenient payment options for our residents. You can pay your bill online through our website columbusjctia.gov
Beginning 04/30/2026 debit and credit card payments will only be accepted through our secure online payment portal. The in‑office card machine will no longer be available.
We want to reassure the community that several other payment options will continue to be accepted:
- ACH Automatic Bank Pay – Residents may sign up for automatic payments directly from a bank account.
• Cash or Check – Payments by cash or check will still be accepted in person, by mail, or in the outside payment drop box.
